Kalpana

Kalpana is one of the popular singers of Bhojpuri Industry.  She is considered as the queen of Bhojpuri and even she is very famous in the northern region of India. Kalpana is a very talented singer who is capable enough to sing some good varieties of songs.  That’s the biggest reason why she is being offered for various Bollywood films to sing their songs. Some of these films which are offered to her are Khatta Mettha, Billu Barber, Welcome, Mirch and many more. She has a blazing sense of customary rhythm as well as groove. Even, she is the one who has deep root in Purvi, bihu folk, Kajree, Nirgun and other Indian forms.  Her native is Assam, India but instead of it she is capable enough to sing in various languages. Kalpana has already sung almost nine thousand songs in twenty three languages. Recently she has worked with top class percussionist as well as band head Trilok Gurtu.

There are many nirgun song (or cultural song). Unluckily we do not have many of them in Bhojpuri. Doesn’t this make the change from double meaning songs that Biharis put up with. One popular singer Kalpana; has sung many amazing songs in her career and is very popular among people in India. She is well known for her cultural songs and way she sings is really very amazing. She has also done some amazing work in Bollywood also and is the first choice among many directors.
